Fitz, did the above say "I bought Rich this for Christmas"?
er....um
it did say that, apart from the Rich bit.
With an exchange rate of $1.96 and the lovely Mrs fitz stumping up half the cash...well ..I couldn't resist it.
I guess I'll just have to do without new pants and socks for another year.
Hi Guys...
i emailed them aswell...i do think we should all be careful, we don't want to start bidding against each other.Oh and remember the import tax.
If it had been a buy it now i would have had it.
lol.....
Well done to mr kidneybingo...lol...nice name Fitz.
Hi Bri,
I missed the auction and e-mailed the guy. He didn't respond but it was re-posted with a 'buy it now' price. I guess I must have just pipped you to it.
I agree about letting each other know if we're going for stuff although saying that, I backed away from a book that someone from TMA was bidding on and they bailed out long before the auction was up.
If you speak sweetly to me I may let you gaze upon it..no touching though (-:
Hi Fitz,
yeah i know what you mean, i have been watching some TMA folks bid on stuff, and thought better of starting a bidding war. I have managed to get a few books myself on ebay.. I tend to get most from the states though..I have for some reason managed to own 4 copies of Morris's Galloway book.
Congrats Fitz for having bought 'our' book. Someone had to do it!
Think about ensurance and waterproof packing when you take that copy with you in the chopper!
Cheers,
Jan
